Founded in 1895 in Wheeling as a “home for unwed mothers,” Crittenton has evolved to meet the needs of the community. Today, Crittenton is an accredited behavioral health agency offering profession, trauma-informed care.
The agency carries on its long tradition of providing hope and healing to girls and young women, with residential care on its Wheeling campus. The residential program serves girls and young women ages 12-21, with specialized services for pregnant/parenting adolescents and their babies.
Wellspring Family Services our community-based mental health program, serves clients in 22 West Virginia counties. Regional offices are located in Weirton, Wheeling, New Martinsville, Morgantown, and Huntington. Most services are delivered in client homes and schools. Online counseling is available on a secure telehealth platform.
