Best Soup Winner, The Market Vines, with interim CEO Jennifer Spencer and Director of M&D Jasmin Ilovar.

We are delighted to announce that the ladles were out, the spoons were stirring, and the "Soup and Salad Luncheon" was a "souper" success. The event was held during lunchtime on Thursday, November 2nd, at McLure Hotel in Wheeling, WV.

The luncheon brought together over 200 community members for a delightful culinary experience, featuring a heartwarming selection of soups, salads, and desserts. All the food was generously donated by local restaurants and talented chefs, showcasing the “soup-erb” talent of Wheeling’s culinary scene.

The “Best Soup” contest featured an impressive 12 entries, each vying to claim the coveted title. The competition was fierce, as the dozen participants wowed attendees with a wide range of delightful flavors, making the judging an exciting and delicious challenge. In the end, The Market Vines took home the coveted "Best Soup" award, and their "Dill Pickle Soup" was hailed as the "souperstar" of the event.

Crittenton Services extends its heartfelt gratitude to the sponsors, local restaurants and chefs, small business owners, volunteers, and attendees for making this luncheon a success. The generous support from the community helped raise over $7,000, which will directly contribute to Crittenton’s Services mission of providing vital behavioral health services to children, women, and families in need.
