Weirton Wellspring Office

It’s never too late to ask for help. Our Weirton Wellspring staff are Master level therapists and case managers, offering a multitude of services for conditions like depression, trauma, family/relationship issues, substance use disorder and many more.

Meet Our Weirton Team!

 

Mallorie Dazen

Clinical Site Supervisor, MSCP, LPC
Mallorie has a bachelors degree in Psychology and Communications and her Masters in Counseling Psychology.  She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of WV and has been practicing in the Weirton area for the last 6 years.  She specializes in trauma work with teenage and adult clients.

 

January Yurchak

Master’s Level Therapist
January is passionate about talk therapy and believes that understanding the perspective of another person is a worthwhile endeavor.

 

Austin Haley

Therapist, Masters in Clinical Counseling
Over 10 years experience working in the mental health field.  Austin believes in utilizing their team approach to help others create a life worth living through trauma informed care. 

 

David Sacks

Master’s Level Therapist
David has an MA and BA in General Experimental Psychology. Over his career, David has held various research and lecturer positions at the University of Pittsburgh Epilepsy Center, University of Pittsburgh Medical School, VA Medical Center in Pittsburgh, and the Community College of Allegheny. Prior to his role at Wellspring, David was also a Forensic Psychologist and a Director of Behavioral Services.

Steve Rothwell

Therapist, Master’s in Psychology
Steve was born and raised in Brooke County. He has a master's in psychology and is working towards a master's in clinical Mental Health. Working with children is very important to Steve, as having 2 daughters, he wants to teach them the importance of mental health.

Emily Walker

Therapist
Emily Walker has a Bachelor’s degree in General Studies focusing on Education, Sociology, History and a minor in Psychology. In 2019, she obtained her Master of Science in Education Counseling. She is a Licensed Professional School Counselor and has been practicing in the states of Ohio/Pennsylvania/West Virginia for the last 4 years. She specializes in working with school-aged youth.

 
 
 

Carly Wagner

Community Liaison
Carly Wagner is a 2011 graduate of West Liberty University where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and is currently attending Grand Canyon University working on a Master’s in Education in School Counseling. She has worked in the Upper Ohio Valley region since 2014, working with ages birth to adults.

 

Katherine Shaw

Therapist, BA
Katherine is a counselor who loves working with children and adults alike. She earned her Master’s of Arts in clinical mental health counseling, with a concentration in trauma counseling. Katherine takes an interpersonal approach to therapy, meaning she strives to aid her clients through a genuine, caring, and consistent relationship between you and her. Fun fact, Katherine is an animal-lover, and proud owner of a three-legged Golden retriever named Gotham and cat named Henry.

Rachel Coil

Office Coordinator
Rachel Coil has lived and worked in the Ohio Valley most of her life. She graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University and was hired in 2020 as the Office Coordinator for the Weirton Wellspring office.

Brandy Wilson

Community Liaison
Brandy Byers Wilson is a 1995 graduate from Westminster College where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with minors in psychology and biology. She then obtained her teaching certification in North Carolina from Guildford College in 2007.  She has continued her professional learning with additional classes in special education, social emotional learning, and trauma informed care. She is an In-Home Support Specialist in our Weirton Office.
