Meet Our Morgantown Team!

 

Savannah Zink

Clinical Site Supervisor - MSW, LICSW
Savannah is originally from Baltimore, MA but has lived in West Virginia since 2015. Savannah attended West Virginia University for her BSW and MSW. Savannah’s focus is working with youth who have experienced trauma. Savannah is both EDMR and TF-CBT trained. When not working, she loves reading, biking, and spending time with her cat. Savannah is also currently enrolled in the University of Pennsylvania in the Doctorate of Social Work program.

 

Meghan Casto

Therapist - MA
Meghan is a Master’s graduate of West Virginia University where she learned Cognitive Behavior Therapy. She is well-versed in school-related issues and working with children and their families. When working with children, Meghan uses Bibliotherapy, incorporating children’s books that pertain to the needs of the child, and will also incorporate games to assist the child in practicing coping skills. Meghan also has experience counseling women and mothers.

 

Elizabeth Blake

Community Liaison
Elizabeth graduated from WVU with a BA in Sociology and Anthropology.  She has around 8 years of experience working in mental health services in north central WV.  Elizabeth feels blessed with her wife, two dogs, and two cats.  She loves being able to work with families and giving back to her community.

 

Madina Ali

Therapist, MSW, CPT
Madina is a highly skilled therapist with a Master of Social Work degree. With 9 years of experience, she specializes in providing innovative support to underprivileged children and families, utilizing her dual expertise in mental health and physical wellness. Madina is a committed advocate of client needs and integrates her personal training certifications with her therapy practice to promote positive behavioral changes for long-term well-being. She actively works within communities to foster healthier environments and empower individuals to achieve holistic wellness.

Micah LeSane-Stocks

In-Home Specialist, BA
Micah is originally from Washington D.C and he attended WVU obtaining his Bachelor of Arts in Multidisciplinary Studies. With minors in psychology, philosophy, and sociology, Micah found his niche within human service. With prior crisis and addiction counseling experience he enjoys the challenges and triumphs that accompany this field. Outside of work, Micah enjoys music, the outdoors, and his lazy cat.  

Chelsea Dean

Therapist
Chelsea holds dual master's degrees in Social Work and Public Administration. She is a dedicated mental health therapist specializing in supporting children and families. Known for her empathetic and evidence-based approach, Chelsea creates a safe space for clients. She is actively pursuing a specialization in teen counseling, driven by a passion for adolescent mental health. Chelsea's interdisciplinary background enables her to address systemic issues affecting mental health, advocating for clients both in therapy and within the community.

 

Brittney Rutledge

Therapist - MS
Brittany has her Master's degree in Psychology with 7 years of experience. Her trauma-focused, safe, and supportive approach is centered around helping individuals explore their unique mental health needs. She is committed to fostering positive change through encouragement and helping clients achieve personal growth.

 

Julie Halfhill

Office Coordinator
Julie is the Office Coordinator in Morgantown, WV. She has been with Wellspring Family Services since May of 2022. She is a proud mother of 3 adult children & spends all of her free time with her 5 beloved grandchildren & listening to podcasts. She feels blessed to work with such a great team in the Morgantown Office.

 

Kyrah Redman

Grant Funded Position in EMSH
Kyrah has her bachelor's degree in social work from Shepherd University. She loves being able to work with families and give back to the community. Kyrah also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cuddling her dog, and reading a good book. 

 

Lauren Verlinden

Therapist
Lauren is a Morgantown native who attended both Morgantown High and West Virginia University! At WVU, she received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work. Lauren believes providing therapy allows her to be a source of hope and healing for others, giving them the needed support to know they do not have to do everything on their own. She loves her community and the people in it.

 

Ben Blair

Community Liaison
Ben is originally from Ohio and obtained his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Fairmont State University.  He has been with Wellspring Family Services since October of 2016.  Ben enjoys working with children and families to help them to thrive in their communities.  Ben and his wife, Melanie, have one son, Nate, and six cats.  They participate in non-profit organizations to support families of deaf and hard-of-hearing children across West Virginia.

 

Mindy DeGroen

School Based Therapist in EMSH
Mindy has her master’s degree in social work from The California University of Pennsylvania. She has worked in the mental health field since 2007. Mindy enjoys working with kids and families. She enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and snuggling her dog, Scarlett.
